Macro with wide angle

I now have a 16mm sea & sea wide angle to go onto the outside of my housing. When going in close do I need to turm on the macro at the same distance (as without the lense) or can I get in closer? thanks

Hi and welcome to Digigreen,

Not sure if this helps but when I was using the c5050 I had the macro setting on at all times - even with and without the WAL screwed on the front. With the macro setting on it had no problems in focussing on more distant objects. Just one less thing to worry about when UW.
